When sending Bitcoin through the Lightning Network (LN), you have two options: whether to send using an invoice or using a username

Sending Bitcoin through Lightning Network Invoices

To send Bitcoin through LN invoice, the recipient should create and send you details of invoice.

  1. Press ‘Send Bitcoin Through Lightning Invoice,’

Select "Send through invoice" to send sats with an invoice
  1. Scan the QR code if using a web wallet on your phone, or paste the invoice sent by the recipient. Once entered press ‘Next’.

Insert LN invoice text or use the QR code to input it
  1. Congratulations! you have successful made a payment

Sending Bitcoin via a Username

  1. Press ‘Send Through Lightning Username.’

Select "Send through username" to send sats using a LNURL
  1. Enter the recipient’s username, specify the amount of satoshis (sats) you want to send, and click ‘Next’.

Fill out the recipients username and the amount in sats to send
  1. Make sure the transaction details are correct, then click 'Confirm'
