Importing a RGB Asset

Introduction

In this article, we'll walk you through the process of importing an asset into your BitMask vault. To follow along, you'll need two different wallets open, as RGB is a client-side validated protocol.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure that you have the following:

  1. An RGB contract or an RGB contract ID (available from the BitMask registry for registered assets or received from another wallet)

  2. A funded RGB vault (if you haven't already, please refer to the previous tutorials)

Importing the Asset

  1. Navigate to the "Assets" tab. If you are importing from my another wallet, open that wallet as well.

  • In this example, the wallet on the left has The Beta Token (BTOKEN), while the wallet on the right has no assets.

If you want to import assets from the

  1. Copy the asset contract from the wallet with the asset.

This will be the entire asset contract genesis.
